Labour are obviously keen to highlight Mr Sunak's privileged background and Californian holiday home whenever they get the chance, although the PM has his own standard comeback, that Sir Keir is a "north London lawyer".Īhead of the vote on the Stormont brake and Boris Johnson's appearance before the privileges committee there's an intense atmosphere in the chamber. This leads him to tell Mr Sunak "he needs to get out of Westminster. The Labour backbenchers are enjoying this, and more so when Sir Keir begins to get personal, suggesting that for the PM to be "standing there pretending everything is fine sounds totally out of touch".
